A Scottish Fiddlers' Rally in the Royal Albert Hall, London was preceded bu a whisky reception given by Whyte & Mackay Distillers.
Pictured at the occasion was, from left, Mr. John Ligerrwood, home sales director; Mrs W. D. Coats; Mr. Magnus Magnusson, television personality, who compered the rally; Mr. W. D. Coats, chairman, Glasgow Cancer Research Campaign Committee; and Mrs. John Ligertwood.
Some 200 fiddlers from all regions of Scotland took park in the rally to try to raise more than £10,000 for the Cancer Research Campaign. They were treated by Whyte & Mackay to an interval dram.
